I live near a small airport and not far from a large one, so a big crazy aircraft light trail picture is on my 'wanna do' list.
It's a long list.
Task today: Throw together big new 'version' of the writing I've been doing. Or, to put that off for later, laundry.

Twin Lens Lyre player
The length of this exposure was one song. It seems like the less I know about what I'm doing, the better the picture turns out. Maybe this means that I like hinky pictures.
Coffee developer, 120 format film.
This camera was a joy and a half to borrow. Beautiful thing.

color holga 01
I'm scanning at the library today. It's usually about this fun.
We had an exceptionally productive planning session for the July class, and learned that we may have time for holga film loading like this.
Monday July 11 in Mears Park!

NEW SKILL SHARE class
Free class in the twin cities!
I'm doing it in Saint Paul, but if there is demand, we can do stuff in Minneapolis.
We'll be assembling flash stencils, like this, but with more materials, textures, etcetera.
However, the subject matter will be driven by participant interests.
Mondays in July, but not the 4th! Friday open labs for people interested in digital processing

Blurry long exposures
Blurry long exposures are probably best contrasted with a clear image within the same shot, accomplished by triggering a flash, particularly an aimed external one.
But aside from capturing something that exists clearly, something more like this is a part of the fun as well.
Photography comes from the greek for 'light writing' of course.
